Empowering Displaced Adolescent Youth Through Skills Development & Sports

Through a combination of entrepreneurship training,, and sports for social cohesion and Mentorship YALI UBUNTU project seeks to bridge the gap between education, employability, and real-world opportunities for displaced youth.

Why YALI Ubuntu?

Africa has over 50% of its population under 25 years old, creating a highly competitive job market & limited job opportunities.

1 million+ Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) in Cameroon, mainly due to conflicts in the Northwest and Southwest regions.

IDP youth face limited economic opportunities, leading to negative coping strategies such as child labor and early marriage.

The sports industry & entrepreneurship offer innovative solutions to enhance employability & social integration.
